History
At your service since 1986 - worldwide
In 1986 Gerlinde and Alois Petry found their own planning office under the name of PETRY ENGINEERING.
At this time operating as a pure service contractor in the field of measurement and control systems, the customer requests and the associated range of duty grow consistently and the first employees follow.
The first major project in 1988 that Alois Petry worked on in the founding location is the planning of the control system for a flue gas purification at the waste-to-energy plant in Coburg, Germany.
This successful project laid the foundation for countless others, which continue to contribute to the growth of the company to this day.
The result is the founding of today´s PETRONIK Automation GmbH in 1991 with the goal to provide their customers with comprehensive solutions in the field of automation technologies.
Beginning at their own house first, the company moves into its first company building in the industrial area of the small Eifel community in Mettendorf this year.
Guided by the same simple philosophy ever since they first founded the business: grow gently and organically, reinvest profits in the company, employ well-trained personnel from the region and occupy a reliable niche. Their success proves the strategy.
Over the next years, Petronik Automation GmbH developes into a permanent fixture in the automation technology field.
Today, the automated systems that the firm builts, plans, completes, and commissions are internationally renowned among large corporations, particularly in petrochemical and plastics production.
In 1999 based on the growing order situation overseas, the decision to expand to the United States of America is made.
First headquarter of PETRONIK Automation Inc. is the city of Ramsey, New Jersey.
Since 2000 Petronik Automation GmbH is not only supplier but partner to the world's market and technology leader in compounding systems, metering systems and bulk materials handling systems.
